World Stands Still

O Sweet Static Current World!
Our humdrum for millions of years is rather chaotic for you Mother Earth and we are losing the balance of this world wherein Peace is lost! Too much of technological advancements is creating a discord in this synchronized balanced Nature.  We, the proud Gen Y citizens feel it's our privilege to conquer the world with smart mechanical establishments and Artificial Intelligence. But intelligently speaking, we are unaware of the fact that Nature's Bounty can never be conquered. Rather it can be healed and restored with our united efforts. Re-vitalising the ecosystem is what it takes. It starts with one persons' joint effort to change mankind's misuse of Nature, it's 5 elements, manpower and intellect ; and yes ofcourse with good logical explanations so that mankind is jointly moved and the whole crisis of this modern world is fathomable.
The world now in this deadly pandemic is like a silent warfare where people are struggling for survival.
Staying indoors is a must for all. Let's all pray that this deadly pandemic is swept away from the world after few months. Another important thing we forget quite often while praying in this crisis is to save the greenery and beautiful ecosystem as that will keep us all alive.
Folks, stay safe!

An October Morning

Thought of publishing my poem, which got me into first position in the writing challenge that was held in the year 2021, by The Unheard Stories Writing Community An October Morning   Summer is gone    Fall is here.  Awakened by Nature's spell , The leafy cacophony in the gloomy woods; This beautiful blue-skied October morning,   I witnessed a brilliant serenity....  The welcoming of cold winters,  Oh! How Nature in itself is a magnificent bliss; I sit taciturn...  The calming onset of seasons,  The fallen leaves making the trees almost bare and decayed Yet the trees stand tall and give warmth of life in this leafy bedlam.  Nature calls upon us ; Let bygones be bygones  Let us shed all anxieties and fears,  Let us enjoy the journey of life.  As Nature has always been a giver,  Nature has always been a giver.  Betwixt the daily musings and work,  The sweet chirping of birds adjoining the...

Humane Expectations

It is famously said by someone whom I know very well that - "Don't expect anything from life as it's full of uncanny stories toggling up and down with disheartening consequences that will only make u all the more morose " Well let me put this straight onto you. Through hope, belief, trust, faith we tend to grow the seeds of our expectations and so we must sow what we reap as ; "practice what you preach" is somewhere correct for all the practical folks out there. If we have the aforementioned 'hope' within our mind and body, automatically we tend to expect. I believe expectations only come from the people you love the most. With the love and concern that you shower towards your loved ones you might as well expect the same in return as Newton's third law of motion goes by our very instincts. .  You may say sacrifice and forgiveness helps us to expect nothing in return. But we are humane my dear friend! Physically made of flesh and blood...

Nostalgia

I miss you every single day I miss you every single moment Without you my life's incomplete. The breaking dawn welcomes a new day Sunshine in the morning gives an eternal bliss. The cold breeze, the sweet chirping of birds somehow pleases my inner soul. Far away I see the clock tower, the old mystic abbeys It is reminiscent of my good old happy-go-lucky school days Today after twenty long years, I pass through the streets of  Little Valley High School, I still hear the alarm bell, The hymns, chants, incantation and prayers in Church hall; The cacophony of the students makes me feel nostalgic... I am amazed to see the adjacent alley which was once ours' hidden secret rendezvous Memory never fades never transforms It  remains afresh and new in our mind's gallery.                                                  Arunita Lahiry
